Game day Procedure
- For away games this year, the boys should wear their jerseys to school. For home games, they should dress their finest and then play their finest.
- Additionally, JV players should report to Coach Lansley’s room after school on the day of games, and Varsity players should report to Coach Juracko’s room.
- Ball runners – I have Monday’s game covered but I am looking for coverage for the remaining home games. I will pay ball runners that work both JV and Varsity games.
As student athletes, our boys should pride themselves on their performance in the classroom as much as they do on the field. I mentioned at Friday’s practice that the coaches are here to help with tutoring. Now is the time to address any issues. I would like for the entire program to finish the season academically eligible.
The Boosters are looking for volunteers to work in the concession stand for the rest of the fall sports season, but more importantly this week. There are games Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If your son is playing in the JV game, you could work the concession stand for the Varsity game (or vise versa), it would help the boosters out immensely. If you can work, please send an email to email@example.com and let them know.
Senior Night is this Thursday during the McDonough game. Mrs. Nelson has sent out an email about volunteers as well as other aspects that need to happen. I would like to invite every family to join in our celebration of this group of seniors. The seniors will be recognized during halftime of the Varsity game. Upon the conclusion of the game, we will enjoy some food. If you can contribute to this evening, it will be greatly appreciated. We still need a few items listed on our perfect potluck website, please check it out http://www.perfectpotluck.com/JCXO0439 . If you can help, please contact Mrs. Nelson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lackey Athletics is running a Car Show at Port Tobacco Marina next Sunday, October 15. Please spread the word and come check out all the awesome cars.
