Boys Soccer Wins

The Boys Soccer team defeated Westlake on Tuesday by a score of 3 – 1. Goals were scored by Torrance Funchess, Devin Whitman, and Jeremy McBain. The Chargers improved to 3 – 4 on the season with 5 games left to play including the rivarly game Wednesday night at McDonough.

Girls Soccer wins 4th in a Row

Field Hockey beats North Point

The Field Hockey team defeated North Point on Monday to improve to 4 – 4 on the season. The lone goal was scored by Madison Furman in the first half. The defense played tough and kept the Eagles out of net. Great all around game by the entire Chargers team.

Hello all,   There have been a lot of changes to our schedule this week. Westlake had a technical issue with their field lights, which has altered our schedule for Tuesday. Our game against McDonough is back at McDonough but will now follow a field hockey game. We also have three games this week, so

The Field Hockey team defeated McDonough by a score of 1 – 0 in a game that was played at Lackey due to McDonough’s field conditions. The Field Hockey team improved to 3-3 on the season. They play again on Thursday in their annual pink game against La Plata at home at 5:00.

The Lackey Chargers played their ‘El Trafficko’ rivals, the St. Charles Spartans in Waldorf. After a rough start, the Chargers put up two goals in the first half. The first came from selfless play by Freshmen Terrell Funchess, which set up Senior Evan Young. Evan Young also scored the other goal of the first half.

The Lady Chargers really did a great job controlling the game by increasing their possession and setting teammates up for lots of chances.
