Cheer moves on to Regionals

The Lackey Cheer team is moving on to Regionals after a great performance at the county competition on Tuesday 10/30. The Regional Championships will be on Saturday 11/3 at Hartford Community College.

Girls Soccer Wins Playoff Game

The Girls Soccer team won their second round playoff game against Surrattsville on Tuesday 10/30. They won by a score of 6 – 1. Goals were scored by Ashley Herbert (2), Callie Culhane, Brooke Portzen, Shelby McBain, Savannah McBain. The girls are moving on to the sectional finals at McDonough.

Varsity Football Game moved to Thursday

The Varsity Football game vs McDonough originally scheduled for Friday 11/2 has been moved up to Thursday 11/1 still at 7 pm. The change is due to the forecast for Friday which is calling for Thunderstorms. Thursday will be warm 74 degrees and a beautiful night and day. Thursday’s game is also Senior Night for

Field Hockey Wins Playoff Game

The Lackey Field Hockey team defeated McDonough in the Regional Semi-finals of the state playoffs by a score of 2 – 0. Both goals were scored by senior Kayla Nagle. The entire team played a strong game at home. The Chargers now move on to the Sectional Championship against La Plata on Monday at 4:15

Lackey Football wins 3rd Straight

The Lackey Chargers found a way to win this past Friday night, defeating Patuxent 20-14 in a game that was hampered by sloppy field conditions due to heavy rain and lots of wind.  The victory pushed the Chargers record to 6-3 on the season and put them in the driver’s seat for a first round

Girls Soccer finishes regular season with record 7 wins

The girls soccer team won again on Monday night against the St. Charles Spartans. The girls won their 7th game of the season which is a record for the girls soccer program here at Lackey. The girls will now head into the playoffs with a first round bye and then head to Surrattsville on Tuesday

Boys Soccer Wins on Senior Night

On senior night, the Lackey Chargers looked to sweep the ‘El Trafficko’ rivalry series against the St. Charles Spartans for the season. The Chargers started their seniors and scored first.
